The Scholarship Schemes Under National Scholarship Portal

How to Apply for the Scholarship?

The National Portal works with the facilitation of filling the scholarships online and getting the direct benefit from it.

The first step to follow if you are a student is to log in to the Student Login Panel and register through the same, which will be followed by filling out the academic details and after you are done with this, you will be given a list of the scholarship that you are eligible for.

Here is the step by step process to fill your scholarship portal application form. Make sure that the details entered are carefully furnished and are correct.

  1. National Scholarship Portal Student Login: In the website or the current web page you are in, look for the Student Login Section that is available in the National Scholarship Portal.
  2. The process of Registration: The step to follow while you are starting to fill the application form is to is to register with the National Scholarship Portal. Fill up all the details that are required and compulsory to submit in the section. The different sections include State of Domicile, Scholarship Category, Name Of the student, Date of Birth, Region, etc. and similar details related to you.
  3. Registration Number: ( Temporary ) After you are completed with the previous procedure that is having entered all the information correctly and submitting the same, you are now eligible to be issued with a 20 digit registration number which is temporary. The mobile number that you have registered, the temporary ID will be sent to the same number. It is imperative for you to retain the temporary registration number till you have completed your application process and have received the registration number which is your permanent number.
  4. Log in to the account: Now that you have received your temporary registration number, log into the National Scholarship Portal by putting the same temporary registration number and your Date of Birth.
  5. Filling up the details: After you are successfully logged into the National Scholarship Portal with your essential documents, it is now crucial for you to fill up all your details as well as your academic details.
    1. Bank details along with personal information: The form in front of you is to fill up the personal information and your bank details. Don’t make silly mistakes in filling up the form; fill up the details of the bank very carefully. This is the account where the scholarship amount will be transferred.
    2. Academic Details: This is the section where you fill up your academics details like your educational qualifications for 10th and 12th Standard followed by the Competition exams you have appeared for and so on.
    3. Scheme Details: In this section, you are about to make a pick for the schemes which include the schemes like Disabled/Minority/SC/ST, etc., of the candidate.
    4. The necessary documents: You are entirely free to make applications for more than one scholarship. After you have selected the application form you wish to apply for, look for the next page you will be directed to the next page where you will have to submit all the required documents that are needed in the process.

After you have finished filling up the application form, you can take the printout of your application.

Submission

Check the form thoroughly to ensure having not made any mistake in the form. After you are finished, send the hard copy of the NSP application form. For submitting, click on the submit button, and you are good to go.
